Happy Pisces season!

True to my Piscean (sun, moon, AND mercury) nature, I have been immersing myself in the watery spaces between the tangible and the ephemeral. Trying to find my mojo, I guess. Which is why my writing has been a bit spotty as of late. I am still working through navigating this platform and identifying how, what, and why I want to write.

As a Pisces sun with a Virgo rising, I:

am an over-feeler and an over-thinker
like the fantastical and factual
want form and function

AKA: I often have a hard time wrangling my thoughts, feelings, and actions into cohesion.

(It’s a hard life! 😂)

So, naturally, it has been a real quagmire in recent weeks trying to sort out this writing gig, as I have previously shared with y’all, and it truly felt never-ending.

Thankfully the season of the dual fish is in session, and I have finally had a breakthrough.

I will spare you the details, but the stars did align. By way of a lot of introspection, a suggestion from a dear friend, and an examination and discovery of my personal “throughlines”.

Essentially, I cleared the cobwebs, changed my POV, and made connections that answered my creative direction and writing questions.

Long story short, I am in the process of a RESET here on Substack. I’ll lay out my plans in an upcoming newsletter, but for now, know that HAUS NOTES will continue to be design, home, and living-this-life-based…just souped up and expanded. Along with the commitment of being present here every week.

For now, I enjoy this mini-mash-up of reads and finds while I revamp this space to craft better content for y’all. ♥️
